Washing your hair for the first time after colouring
You
should ideally avoid washing your hair for 48 hours after colour
application, this allows for the colour molecule to harden completely
in the hair.
Nanomax
Nanomax seal and shine is an
optional service now available at Pure Hairdressing. This treatment
locks the colour molecule in to the hair immediately after application
reducing the risk of colour fade. Please ask your stylist for more
information.
Ongoing maintenance
Using a professional
shampoo and conditioner that is suitable for your hair type and colour
will help you to maintain your colour for longer. Incorrect product
selection is one of the most common causes of premature colour fade.

UV protection
We are all aware of the importance of UVA
and UVB protection to prevent ageing of the skin. This is also
important for the hair. UV rays accelerate colour fade especially when
on holiday and during the summer months. The application of a leave in
colour protection spray when you wash and style your hair will help to

Blondes
If your hair has been lightened
in any way, it is advised that you use regular conditioning treatments
to help restore the correct levels of protein and moisture within the
hair. Products are also available to help prevent the dulling of blonde
and brassy tones, which when used will keep blondes truer and fresher
