At Pure Hairdressing we pride ourselves on exceptional standards.
This
can only be achieved by setting a good foundation from which we train
all of our employees. All training is carried out in salon with one to
one personal tuition from the salon owner Maria Hall. We look to
recruit our young team members from as early as part time Saturday
staff so we can instil our values and standards at a young age.
Once
on a full time apprenticeship scheme, our training helps our learners
achieve Level 2 NVQ in hair dressing within approximately 2 years.
Other optional NVQ qualifications available to achieve at Pure Hairdressing include:
NVQ Level 3 advanced hairdressing
(Levels 1 and 2 required)
NVQ A1 assessor award
(Levels 1, 2 and 3 required)
Along side apprenticeship and NVQ training schemes, we continually
invest in the ongoing educational development of our staff. Using the
L'Oreal Proffesional Academy in Hammersmith London our stylists gain
certificates in specialist areas they are best suited such as advanced
colour correction.
As well as learning new skills our stylists
also attend regular private events to watch and learn from the
industries best hair professionals. These include the Charles Wortis
Art Team, the Trevor Sorbie Art Team, Andrew Barton and Errol Douglas.
